River Inver
Species: Brown trout, Sea trout and Salmon.Season: 1 March–31 October Methods: All legal methods after 1st June. Limits: 10inch for Trout. Salmon: 2 fish bag limit per day. Other Restrictions: Fly fishing only to the 1st June. Spinning and worming may be available after the 1st June, no maggots. Licence: DCAL Game Fishing Rod Licence. Permit: Larne & District Game Anling Association. Boats: - Disabled Access: - The Inver is a small (3-5m) spate river which can get impressive runs of sea trout and also offers the chance of a salmon. There is no worming or spinning anywhere on the river before June 1 and some sections of the river are fly only throughout the season. A guide or ghillie can be arranged with prior notice.
