An extensive 17th-century demesne. The formal garden of the first house was replaced by a landscape park for the present house of 1788-98, set in parkland by William King. There is mature woodland, parkland, clump and shelter belt trees. An oak avenue and the outline of a canal remain from the earlier garden.
