sign-posted Beech Wood Walk. A surfaced
path, the route takes you through the
woodland, planted around 1709 with
beech, oak and Scots pine overhead.

and shaped like an inverted cone with a
dome vaulted top.
Continue on the pathway for about 150m

turn off for the Cortgonnell Walk, which
takes a further 30 minutes to complete.
Continuing on the Beech Wood Walk,
you’ll soon see the front of the mansion.
The path will continue on and finish at the
starting point at the top of the steps, which
lead back to the car park.
